Ontwikkeld in nauwe samenwerking met ambachtslieden in traditionele pottenbakkersdorpen van Japan, is het een frisse interpretatie van Japans tafelgerei voor de moderne levensstijl. Kennis en vaardigheden werden doorgegeven om het product te ontwikkelen — van de verhouding van klei en glazuur tot de gevoelige veranderingen tijdens het bakken, die afhankelijk zijn van temperatuur en vochtigheid. Niet oververhitten in de magnetron of verhitten zonder water. Voorzichtig wassen. Gebruik geen schurende reinigingsmiddelen of staalwol. Productafmetingen en -vorm variëren per item door het productieproces. Het uiterlijk van kleur- en glazuuroneffenheden varieert per item. Sommige producten kunnen een geblakerd-achtige textuur op het oppervlak vertonen. Dit is een uniek glazuureffect genaamd "yo-hen", een onbedoelde kleurverandering die zichtbaar wordt op keramiek en porselein na het bakken.
