Niet strijken om de textuur van de stof te behouden. Niet stomen. Zeer voorzichtig nat reinigen is toegestaan. Langdurige blootstelling aan direct zonlicht of tl-licht kan verkleuring veroorzaken. Door de aard van de stof kan wassen de textuur iets veranderen of krimp veroorzaken. Kleur kan vervagen of overgaan door water, zweet of wrijving. Kleuroverdracht kan optreden; was daarom apart van andere items. Niet lang weken, omdat dit kleurvervaging kan veroorzaken. Kleurtoon en schakering kunnen per productiebatch verschillen. Bij eerste gebruik kunnen losse draadjes uit de franje komen; trek ze niet, maar knip ze af met een schaar.
