Dropped a spoon on it by accident and was relieved the glaze didn’t even chip — this little bowl feels solid yet beautiful, just the right size for a side of stew.

The reddish-brown clay peeking through the rim gives each bowl a unique, handcrafted feel that my stews look beautiful in. The glaze has a serene, earthy tone that makes the food pop without being flashy. I’m really glad I picked this up for everyday dinners.

The glaze really does have a serene, almost calming quality, and the bowl feels substantial yet balanced in the hand. It made a simple beef stew look more elegant than usual. My only small wish is that it were a tiny bit deeper for really saucy dishes.
